HR Officer / HR Administrator / HR Advisor / Human Resources Administrator required to join a well-established manufacturer in Runcorn to support the HR Director.

The HR Administrator / HR Advisor / HR Officer / Human Resources Administrator will be delivering an efficient HR service through effective handling of disciplinaries, absence management, guiding managers and all HR administration in line with policies and employment legislation

The Human Resources Officer must be Level 3 CIPD qualified or above.


Salary up to £32,000 depending on experience

23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

37.5 Hours Per Week with Flexi Time

Early Finish Fridays

First point of contact for HR advice, support and assistance to line management and staff.

Build effective working relationships with staff at all levels providing advice and guidance on policies and employment legislation

Manage a range of employee relations cases including conducting investigations, and advising at grievance and disciplinary meetings

Main point of contract for new starters/co-ordinate all new joiner administration

Assist in the maintenance of all HR records including holiday records, sickness records, changes to terms and conditions pay reviews and quarterly bonus calculations

Supporting the HR Director with ongoing and future HR projects e.g., wellbeing month, employee survey, performance management etc

Assist Managers in ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, company procedures, policies, and guidance notes

Assist with Health and Safety accident and hazard investigations and ensure compliance with reporting requirements

Handle all aspects of HR related administrator to support the HR Director

Working with various engineering departments

Office based in Runcorn


Proven experience as a HR Officer / HR Administrator / HR Advisor / Human Resources Administrator or similar 

Previous experience of disciplinaries, guiding managers, absence management and HR administration

Ability to multi-task and understand different departments needs and demands

HR Advisor must have a Level 3 CIPD Qualification or above
